SOFAS & FURNITURE
Sofa and furniture delivery planned around the item and the doorway.
A sofa delivery is often decided by access rather than mileage. AtlasMove asks for the full addresses, number of physical pieces and practical access notes before confirming the price. The job then follows one digital record from collection scan to receiver signature.
01
What to include in a sofa or furniture request
Describe whether the item is a single armchair, a fixed sofa, a sectional set or several separate pieces. Useful measurements and photographs can help the team understand an awkward collection, but the quote form should still contain the full written access information.
Tell us if the item is upstairs, whether a working lift is available, where the van can legally stop and whether the receiver has confirmed the route through the property. AtlasMove does not assume dismantling, assembly or removal of old furniture unless it is explicitly agreed in the accepted quote.
- Item type and physical piece count
- Useful dimensions for large or unusual pieces
- Floor level and lift availability
- Parking, loading and entrance restrictions
02
Collection, transit and delivery status
The driver uses the mobile workflow to scan the consignment and record operational status. When the approved route starts, the customer tracking page can show the assigned vehicle and an updated ETA without revealing unrelated deliveries.
At the destination, the receiver checks the delivery and signs on the driver’s phone. Any permitted delivery evidence is stored with the tracking history so the sender has a retrievable record if a later question arises.
03
For households, retailers and marketplace collections
AtlasMove accepts requests from ordinary customers as well as regular business partners. A household booking is paid in advance after the custom quote is accepted. Approved business arrangements may follow the agreed account terms.
For marketplace or third-party collections, the booker remains responsible for supplying accurate collection contact details, item information and access instructions. The service becomes confirmed only when AtlasMove accepts the request and records the agreed price and date.
Bradford managedRoutes and customer records are controlled from the AtlasMove operation in Bradford.
Confirmed in writingItem, route, access and price details are reviewed before a public booking becomes confirmed.
Private by designOther customers and exact unrelated route stops never appear in the public tracking view.
PRACTICAL ANSWERS
Questions before you book.
Will the crew dismantle my sofa?+
Dismantling is not assumed. Describe the requirement before accepting the quote so AtlasMove can confirm what is included.
Can you collect from a retailer or marketplace seller?+
Yes, subject to route and access review. Supply a reliable collection contact and confirm that the item is ready to be released.
What if the sofa does not fit through the entrance?+
The booker should check dimensions and access in advance. Undisclosed access problems may require a revised plan or failed-delivery handling.
When will tracking appear?+
The tracking credentials are issued after confirmation. Live vehicle updates begin only when the assigned driver starts the route.
