REGULAR SATURDAY CORRIDOR
Bradford to Glasgow and Edinburgh bulky-goods delivery
Saturday is AtlasMove’s regular Scotland-side corridor from Bradford towards Glasgow and Edinburgh. Because the route can cover a large distance, every stop is reviewed using the complete postcode, item details, access information and available capacity.
01
How the route is planned
The planning system can suggest a farthest-first pattern so the vehicle reaches the most distant confirmed area before completing suitable stops on the return direction. The dispatcher can accept or change that suggestion before publishing the route to the driver.
02
What the customer receives
Once Start Route is pressed, customers receive journey-based ETA rather than a guessed fixed departure time. Only the authorised customer’s vehicle and destination information are shown; the public view does not expose the Scotland route’s other addresses or customers.
SUITABLE ROUTE WORK
Postcodes are checked against the actual journey.
An outward postcode alone is useful for early planning, but a confirmed job needs the full collection and delivery postcode, addresses, item details and access notes.
- Bradford hub and practical northern collection points
- Glasgow-area destinations reviewed by full postcode
- Edinburgh-area destinations reviewed by full postcode
- Return-direction stops that protect existing commitments
Dispatcher approvedThe suggested order is reviewed before it is published to the driver.
No invented departureTiming begins when the driver actually starts the route.
Private stopsCustomers never see another customer’s address or the full stop sequence.
